Improving outcomes of perinatal care for preterm infants

Significant morbidity in cases of preterm babies is a major cause of concern for parents as well as healthcare providers. Sometimes perinatal care gets complicated due to the uncertainty in decision making.
In order to help the healthcare providers understand decision-making better, MedPiper Technologies and JournoMed in association with IMA Chennai Villivakkam Ayanavaram Branch are conducting a webinar titled “Perinatal care for preterm infants”. The webinar will focus on the evolved perinatal care techniques that are based on new evidence, latest technology, and trusted clinical practices.
The event will be held on 6th March, Sunday, 6 pm. Participants can join by registering for it here. For more details, participants may contact Soumya T.S at events@medpiper.com/9080078447. E-Certificates will be provided to all the participants.
The outcomes of perinatal care can be improved if the counselling is consistent, family-centered, informed, and ethical. The event will also help healthcare providers to understand the importance of communication between the healthcare workers and the family to improve the outcomes of perinatal care for preterm patients.
Participants will also be able to provide care tailored to the needs of preterm infants. They will also get to know more about factors like gestational age, sex, birth weight, plurality and congenital anomaly among others that affect the survivability of preterm infants.
